Privacy Policy
Last Updated: APRIL 12, 2025
Kyank, Inc. (“Kyank”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of its users. We have developed this Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into our Terms of Service, to demonstrate our commitment to protecting your (“you” or “your”) privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our privacy practices in connection with your access to or use of our website, mobile app, products, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by our terms, including this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully before using our Service. By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by our terms including this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about our privacy practices, please contact us at [email protected].
INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
“Information,” as used in this Privacy Policy, means personal information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular user or household.
In general, we may collect information that can identify you such as your name, email address, and your use of our Service such as access logs. Like many companies, we also collect internet and device information, such as from cookies and other automated technologies. We may also collect information from third parties.
Specifically, we collect and/or have collected the following categories of information about you and other users of the Service:
Information you provide. In order to register as a user of the Service, we need to collect some information about you including basic profile details and the types of people you are interested in connecting with. Some of this information is provided directly by you when you register for the Service, for example:
- To create an account, you will be asked to sign in using your Facebook login. If you do so, you authorize us to access certain Facebook account information, such as your public Facebook profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook), your email address, interests, likes, gender, birthday, education history, relationship interests, current city, photos, personal description, friend list, and information about and photos of your Facebook friends who might be common Facebook friends with other users of the Service.
- You will also be asked to allow the Service access to your location information from your device when you download or use the Service.
- In addition, we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our Service or in some other manner. This may include identifying information, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information. You may also provide us photos, a personal description and information about your gender and preferences for recommendations, such as search distance, and age range. We may also ask you to provide us with a copy of your government ID for confirmation purposes.
- If you chat with other users, you provide us the content of your chats, and if you contact us with a customer service or other inquiry, you provide us with the content of that communication.
Some of the information that you provide may be considered “special” or “sensitive” in certain jurisdictions. By choosing to provide this information, you consent to our processing of it. Any information you provide may be viewable by other users of the Service. If you communicate with other users within the Service, you provide us the content of your conversation. Should you contact us with an inquiry, we may collect the content of that correspondence or interaction.
We do not collect any biometric data, including facial recognition data. We check whether or not there is a face in the photo using the APIs provided by Apple via CIDetector, on user’s device. However, we do not retrieve or save any face data. No data is ever transmitted outside of the user’s device. No user-specific facial data is retrieved or saved.
Content you make public. We may collect information from you that you voluntarily upload when using the Service or otherwise post for public display (“Public Information”), such as your Content, which may include photos, videos, or comments. Once you submit Public Information, neither you nor we can control how it may be copied, shared, or used by third parties, even if you or we later delete such Public Information. Accordingly, you should carefully consider what personal information you choose to include within your Public Information.
Transaction and payment information. When you subscribe to a paid service or make a purchase through the Service, data regarding your usage, consumption of purchased content, and information related to the purchases you make may be collected. Additionally, you provide our payment processor with information to make the purchase, such as your debit or credit card number or other financial information. See also California Civil Code Section 1798.80(e).
Information collected automatically. We automatically collect information from your browser or device when you visit our Service. This information could include your IP address, device ID and type, your browser type and language, the operating system used by your device, access times, your mobile device’s geographic location while our application is actively running, and the referring website address.
Cookies and Use of Cookie Data. When you visit our Service, we may assign your device one or more cookies to facilitate access to our Service and to personalize your experience. Through the use of a cookie, we also may automatically collect information about your activity on our Service, such as the pages you visit, the time and date of your visits and the links you click. If we advertise, we (or third parties) may use certain data collected on our Service to show you advertisements about our Service on other sites or applications. These practices are discussed more fully in the Cookie Section below.
Pixel tags. We may embed pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear GIFs) on webpages, ads, and emails. These tiny, invisible graphics are used to access cookies and track user activities (such as how many times a page is viewed). We may use pixel tags to measure the popularity of our features and services. Ad companies may also use pixel tags to measure the number of ads displayed and their performance (such as how many people clicked on an ad). These practices are discussed more fully in the Cookie Section below.
Mobile device IDs. If you’re using our Service through our mobile app, we use mobile device IDs (the unique identifier assigned to a device by the manufacturer), or advertising IDs (for iOS 6 and later), instead of cookies, to recognize you. We do this to store your preferences and track your use of our Service. Unlike cookies, device IDs cannot be deleted, but advertising IDs can be reset in “Settings” on your iPhone. Ad companies also use device IDs or advertising IDs to track your use of the Service, track the number of ads displayed, measure ad performance and display ads that are more relevant to you. Analytics companies use device IDs to track information about app usage.
Information collected by third-parties for advertising purposes. We may allow service providers, advertising companies and ad networks, and other third parties to display advertisements on our Service. These companies may use tracking technologies, such as cookies or web beacons, to collect information about users who view or interact with their advertisements. We do not provide any non-anonymized personal information to third parties. Some of these third-party advertising companies may be advertising networks that are members of the Network Advertising Initiative, which offers a single location to opt out of ad targeting from member companies (www.networkadvertising.org). Opting out will not decrease the number of advertisements you see.
Job applicants. If your personal information is submitted through our website when applying for a position with our company, the information will be used solely in connection with considering and acting upon your application. We may retain your personal information, but only for the purpose of considering your application for current or future available positions. This information, which may include your name and contact information, prior education and experience, and other information you provide to us, may be shared with third-party service providers retained by us to collect, maintain and analyze candidate submissions for job postings.

We also collect personal information from third parties, such as:

- Other partners: We may receive information about you from our partners where our ads are published on a partner’s service (in which case they may pass along details on a campaign’s success).
Finally, as discussed above, like most websites and apps, we also collect personal information through automated technologies, such as cookies, web beacons, and pixels. These practices are discussed more fully in the Cookie Section below.
We collect and use personal information for our business purposes, namely, to provide and improve our Service. Part of this includes compliance with applicable laws, such as responding to legal requests, enforcing this Privacy Policy and our rights, and protecting others and our Service. We may also use information for short-term, transient use for an interaction with you and to personalize your experience and communications. We also use your information to provide the features of our Service, including allowing you to create your account/user profile, provide you with customer support, and communicate with you about the Service. We use information for security purposes and to protect against harmful activity. We may use information for debugging for functionality, auditing interactions, and internal research. We also use information as instructed by you and with your consent. Some examples include, but are not limited to:
- deliver and improve our products and services, and manage our business;

In addition, we collect and use information for commercial purposes, meaning to market our goods and services. For example, we collect device and other data to better target advertisements and other content in an effort to create a more personally relevant experience.
In all circumstances, we may perform these functions directly or use a third-party vendor to perform these functions on our behalf who will be obligated to use your personal information only to perform services for us. Also, if you access our Service from a third-party social platform, such as Facebook, we may share non-personal information with that platform to the extent permitted by your agreement with it and its privacy settings.
COOKIES
As with many companies, we may use cookies, pixels, gifs, web beacons, log files, and/or similar technologies to automatically collect certain information when you use the Service or interact with our digital media content, such as when you visit our website. This allows us to track individual users, determine when content is accessed, and customize user experiences. For example, unless you have opted out of cookies or changed your cookie settings in your internet browser, your browser automatically sends us certain device, browser, internet connection, and general geolocation information and certain internet activity information. For instance, we may collect your mobile device identifier or MAC address, ISP carrier information, date and time you access the Service, the pages you visit, and whether you click on ads. You can change your cookie settings in your internet browser and use settings on your device to manage your privacy controls. For more information and ways to opt out, see https://www.allaboutcookies.org/, and learn how to disable these tools by opting-out of third-party cookies and mobile device ID practices.
As part of our practices, we may use third-party advertising companies to display ads tailored to your individual interests based on your online activity and to provide ad-related services such as analytics and market research. Third parties, in turn, may use a cookie, web beacon, or other similar technology to collect information. To opt-out of cross-device linking, visit www.aboutads.info/choices or perform a global opt-out on each browser and device.
In particular, we may use Google cookies and tools, such as Google Analytics for analytics and advertising and to improve the user experience, and your information may be shared with Google; for more information, visit the Google Cookie Policy, Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On, or Ads Settings.
Please note that there are different types of cookies and related technologies, which may be placed by us or third parties, including essential cookies that are required to display and provide the Service; preference cookies that are used to store preferences and improve user experiences; analytics cookies to determine how the Service is used and that often collect non-personalized information; and marketing cookies to deliver personalized and targeted advertisements that may be of interest to you and others, and which are used for business purposes for advertising to those that visit the Service, and commercial purposes for marketing to others.
WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
As part of our business, we disclose information as follows and for the purposes outlined above, which include business purposes to provide and improve the Service and comply with legal and contractual obligations, as well as commercial purposes, such as to market our business:
Service providers and contractors. We may share information, including personal and financial information, with third parties that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, ad tracking and analytics, member screenings, supporting our Service functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through our Service. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes. We may likewise share information with “contractors” that are not service providers but to whom we disclose information for a business purpose. Such disclosure is for business purposes of providing you with products and services that you have requested or considered.
Other users. When you register as a user of the Service, your profile will be viewable by other users of the Service. Other users will be able to view information you have provided to us directly or through Facebook, such as your photos, any additional photos you upload, your first name, your age, approximate number of miles away, your personal bio, information you have in common with the person viewing your profile, such as your education and career. Also, information gathered by integrations of third-party services such as Instagram will be viewable. Your matches will also be able to see the content of your chats with them. Please be careful with your information and make sure that the content you share is something you would be comfortable being publicly viewable. Remember, neither you nor we can have total control over what others do with your information once you share it. We may also share your public content, such as reviews and comments about the Service, including by reposting your reviews in our advertising and through our social media accounts.
Disclosure in connection with the Service. We may disclose information when necessary to provide the Service, including without limitation, with those who perform technical, administrative, and data processing tasks such as hosting (for example, Apple), billing, customer support, marketing, and data storage.
Affiliated entities. Should we be subject to an acquisition, merger, sale or other change of control or business entity status, or a bankruptcy, we reserve the right to transfer or assign your information as part of that acquisition, merger, sale, or bankruptcy. We may also share your information with any affiliated entities, which are businesses that are directly related to us and have common ownership, where your information is still treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Government officials and other parties. To comply with any legal obligations, we may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, and other valid legal processes. We may also disclose personal information when we believe it is necessary to prevent illegal, fraudulent, or injurious actions that may cause harm to individuals.
Advertising partners. We may disclose information as needed to advertising partners. For example, we may share information gathered through cookies and tracking tools to allow a third party to advertise our products to you after you leave the Service.
Consent. We may disclose information as requested or consented to by you. Such disclosure may be for any business or commercial purpose as described to you.
Aggregated and/or non-personal information. We may use and share non-personal information we collect under any of the above circumstances. We may also share it with other third parties to develop and deliver targeted advertising on our Service and on websites or applications of third parties, and to analyze and report on advertising you see. We may combine non-personal information we collect with additional non-personal information collected from other sources. We also may share aggregated, non-personal information, or personal information in hashed, non-human readable form, with third parties, including advisors, advertisers and investors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis or other business purposes. For example, we may engage a data provider who may collect web log data from you (including IP address and information about your browser or operating system), or place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser to enable you to receive customized ads or content. The cookies may reflect de-identified demographic or other data linked to data you voluntarily have submitted to us (such as your email address), that we may share with a data provider solely in hashed, non-human readable form. To opt-out of cookies that may be set by third party data or advertising partners, please go to http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
DO WE SELL OR SHARE INFORMATION?
We only sell or share data as outlined in this Privacy Policy. For example, our use of online tracking technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law. To opt out of these practices, contact us as outlined below and see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.
DO NOT TRACK DISCLOSURE; GPC
No, our Service does not currently respond to DNT, short for Do Not Track, requests. DNT is a feature that, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing not be tracked.
“GPC” is short for Global Privacy Control settings in your browser or extension. We recognize GPC signals. This means that if your browser has GPC enabled, our website will automatically recognize your GPC signal and opt you out of the sale of your personal information, if any. For more information about GPC, please click here: https://globalprivacycontrol.org/.
THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
There are a number of places on our Service where you may click on a link to access other websites that do not operate under this Privacy Policy. For example, if you click on an advertisement on our Service, you may be taken to a website that we do not control. These third- party websites may independently solicit and collect information, including personal information, from you and, in some instances, provide us with information about your activities on those websites. We recommend that you consult the privacy statements of all third-party websites you visit by clicking on the “privacy” link typically located at the bottom of the webpage you are visiting.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
We value consumer privacy rights and strive to provide flexibility with how your personal data is used and shared. If you want to make a privacy request or have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] with your name and email address or other identifier used in connection with our Service so that we can verify your request. If an authorized agent is making a request on your behalf, the agent should provide its name and contact information, such as an email address, in addition to your information. There may be situations where we cannot grant your request; for example, if you make a request and we cannot verify your identity, or if you request deletion of data that we have a legal obligation to keep. Where we deny your request in whole or in part, we will take steps to inform you of the denial and provide an explanation of our actions and the reasons for the denial.
Applicable privacy laws have different requirements and depend on various factors, such as where you live and how much revenue or data is at issue. Generally, we adhere to the following set of privacy rights to the extent applicable and subject to any limitations authorized by law.
- Access. You can access and obtain your data and ask us for certain information, including: the categories of personal information collected and used; the categories of the sources of data; the business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing data; the categories of third parties to whom data is disclosed; and the specific pieces of personal information collected. You also have a similar right to data portability (the ability to export, back up, and transfer data).
- Amend. You can amend, correct, or rectify your data if it is inaccurate.
- Delete. You can have your data deleted subject to certain legal limitations or if retaining the data is necessary for use to manage the Service.
- Limit. You can limit the processing of your data, in particular any sensitive data, and limit use of automated decision making, such as profiling.
- Opt-Out. You have the right to opt-out of certain data practices. For example, you can unsubscribe from marketing communications by following the opt-out instructions in each message or by contacting us as outlined in this Privacy Policy (please note that we may still send non-marketing messages, and that consent to receiving marketing communications is not mandatory to use the Service). You may also opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” or your personal information to the extent applicable. Please see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link. You may opt out of the use of automated decision-making technology if applicable. We will also respond to recognized global opt-out preference signals where we can verify the request. For more information, see below.
- Complaints. You have the right to make certain complaints, including for privacy concerns. We value your feedback and seek the opportunity to work with you on any issues. You have the right to no discrimination for asserting your privacy rights.
- Specific State Laws. Several states have enacted privacy laws that may apply to you, depending on the circumstances. For example, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), updated by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), governs certain California-related conduct. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents may also request certain information regarding Company sharing personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Further, if you are a California resident under the age of 18, California Business & Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to request and obtain removal of content you have publicly posted. Please note that such a request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of public content.
- European Laws. Generally, residents of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) have the right to access your own information that we hold; to ask that your information be corrected, updated, or erased; and the right to object to, or request that we restrict, certain processing of your information. Our legal basis for collecting and using your personal data is your consent, the fulfillment of our obligations pursuant to the contract created between you and Company, or where the collection and use is in our legitimate interests and does not violate your data protection interests or fundamental rights. You may withdraw your consent to our collection and use of your personal data. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your information used in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
- Other Laws. If certain other privacy laws apply to you that provide you with additional rights, please contact us to make a request, as we strive to comply with all privacy rights.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION
We retain personal information for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a different retention period is requested by you or required or permitted by law. For example, we will retain your personal information for as long as it is needed to provide you with the Service or fulfill a legal or contractual obligation. We may also aggregate, deidentify, or anonymize personal information as applicable for use in analytics, such as to analyze trends over periods of time without specifically identifying you.
We use the following criteria to determine how long we retain personal information: (a) our relationship with you, such as if there is an open contract or account or a pending transaction or request; (b) legal obligations to retain personal information for certain purposes, such as to maintain transaction records; and (c) other obligations or considerations relating to the retention of data, such as contract requirements, litigation holds, investigations, or statutes of limitation.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We take security measures to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take steps to secure your information, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information, chats, or other communications will always remain secure. Users should also take care with how they handle and disclose their personal information and should avoid sending personal information through insecure email. Please refer to the federal trade commission’s website at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/menus/consumer/data.shtm for information about how to protect yourself against identity theft.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Service is restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. As such, we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected such information, we will delete it from our database. We have no such information to use or to disclose to third parties or to otherwise report, including under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under the age of 16.
VISITING OUR SERVICE FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
If you are visiting the Service from a location outside of the United States, your connection will be through and to servers located in the United States, and all information you provide will be processed and securely maintained in our web servers and internal systems located within the United States. By using the Service, you authorize and specifically consent to the transfer of personal data to the United States and its storage and use as specified in this Privacy Policy.
HOW DO WE USE OR DISCLOSE SENSITIVE INFORMATION?
We do not generally use or disclose “sensitive” personal information, nor do we use sensitive information for purposes other than those specified in the CPRA, which provides for the following uses without additional disclosures where the information is reasonably necessary and proportionate to the use: (a) to perform certain services, such as verifying information or for analytics; (b) to verify or maintain the quality or safety of our Service; (c) to perform services or provide goods reasonably expected; (d) for short-term use where there is no disclosure or profiling; and (e) to resist malicious, fraudulent, or illegal actions or to ensure physical safety.
DO WE OFFER FINANCIAL INCENTIVES FOR YOUR DATA?
No, we do not currently offer any financial incentives for your data.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We will occasionally update this privacy policy. When we post changes to this privacy policy, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this privacy policy. We recommend that you check our service from time to time to inform yourself of any changes in this privacy policy or any of our other policies.
